2. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected through ibtikx.com — including the contact form, careers applications submitted via our contact form, and any email correspondence you initiate with us through this website.

It does not govern data collected by our client products, standalone apps, or services delivered under separate contracts unless those products link to this policy explicitly.

3. What data we collect

When you submit our contact form, we may collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your company name (if you provide it)
• Subject and message content
• Role or job slug (if you apply for a position listed on our Careers page)

We do not require you to create an account to browse this website. We do not collect payment card data through this site.

4. How we use your data

We use the information you submit solely to:

• Respond to enquiries, project discussions, and partnership requests
• Review and respond to job applications
• Maintain a record of our correspondence where reasonably necessary
• Improve how we operate this website (using aggregated, non-identifying information only)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

5. Legal basis and PDPL

We process personal data on the basis of your consent when you submit a form, and where necessary to respond to your request or take steps at your request before entering a contract.

We aim to comply with applicable data protection requirements in the Kingdom of Bahrain, including the Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018) where it applies to our processing activities.

6. Third parties and hosting

Contact form submissions are transmitted through our secure API endpoint so our team can receive and respond to your message. Our hosting and infrastructure providers process data on our behalf only to operate the website and deliver form submissions.

We require service providers to handle data confidentially and only for the purposes we specify. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own marketing.

7. International transfers

Your data may be processed or stored on systems located outside the Kingdom of Bahrain where our service providers operate. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards and contractual protections consistent with applicable law.

8. Data retention

We retain contact and job application submissions for up to 12 months unless a longer period is required to resolve an active enquiry, comply with law, or establish or defend a legal claim. After that, we delete or anonymize the data.

You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 10).

9. Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently use advertising cookies, third-party analytics scripts, or tracking pixels. Essential technical cookies may be used by our hosting provider for security or delivery; we do not use them to profile visitors.

If we introduce analytics or non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain consent before doing so.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Request access to personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data where we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with the relevant authority in Bahrain if you believe your rights have been infringed
